Choosing your area.
Although most people wish to be put in touch with people who live locally, you do not have to choose the area in which you live. You may choose, for example, to meet people who are local to an area which you visit frequently. You may also decide to chose your nearest 'major' town rather than a more local 'minor' town, as it is likely that more people will have registered for that 'major' town, but they will of course, live further away from you. It's a balance between how many results you want against how local you want those results to be. Alternatively, you may register for both 'areas' (see below).
Choosing multiple areas.
You are not limited to registering in only one area. The annual membership was kept down to £3 to make it affordable to register in more than one area, i.e. to widen the area in which you wish to be put in contact with other members. To register for multiple areas, simply register once for each area.
Getting your 'matches'.
Whenever we have new information for you regarding other members whose details match the details that you entered, we will send these details to you by email. This may be within a few days (normally the following day) of you joining (with details of any existing members) and whenever new matching members join. If you do not hear from us within a few days of joining, don't worry, throughout the year of your membership, you can expect to recieve emails everytime someone registers with the same area. And you can always mail us at any time to ask for advice on how to generate more 'matches'.
Making contact with other members.
The only details we make available to members are their email address and their area. It is then up to you to decide if you wish to correspond via the provided email addresses.
If you have any concerns over providing your email address to other members, then why not create a free web-based mail account for youself to use just for this purpose. You can sign up for such a mail account at Hotmail, Yahoo or Google.
Making Payment.
Payment is taken via PayPal. You actually make payment to PayPal and then PayPal will pay us. This means that we at www.People-Connection.co.uk are never aware of your Payment card details. All that PayPal forward to us is your email address and your chosen area.
Change of details.
If your 'email address' or your 'area' changes, then mail us at changeofdetails@People-Connection.co.uk and we will change these details for you. If you no longer wish to receive any mails, simply mail us at unsubscribe@People-Connection.co.uk and your details will be removed from the list.
